But let me explain, In short, "Orkut users would be able to create, edit or delete and share events data from Orkut events with your friends". And maybe after to sync between Google Calendar and mobile devices; or create mashups with other Google services.
However that would take a while because building an API is a complicated process. So friends would be able to share and update their daily schedules on Orkut for their friends to know what they are upto.
This is confirmed, I have absolutely no doubt about it, Good move Orkut.
