If you keep your bookmarks arranged in folders and subfolders, you know it can be annoying to navigate several levels just to get to the link you need. The 2 Pane Bookmarks extension splits your bookmark view into two areas, folders and links. With 2 Pane installed, hit Ctrl+B and your bookmark panes will load in the Firefox sidebar.

Windows only: Freeware application Jpeg Enhancer attempts to restore low-quality JPEG images mired by artifacts and blotchy pixelization to a better state.
To be perfectly honest, I don't imagine that there are many cameras these days that are creating many real JPEG compression problems (and those who care probably shoot in RAW), but I've actually got a handful of pictures from my first less-than 1 megapixel camera that could potentially find some good use with an app like this. Your results may vary (don't expect to go from blotchy to crystal clear), but it is a very simple tool that anyone could use to try improving low-quality images. Jpeg EnhancerWindows only: Freeware application ClipCase formats the text in your clipboard in a number of very useful ways—from line break removal to different capitalization schemes—designed to help you clean up text before you paste it elsewhere.
The most useful features of ClipCase are probably the "Remove returns" functionality and maybe even the "Remove >" (handy for copying email quotes). The text transformation stuff is fun, but other than the "Cap sentences" option, which makes sure you've capitalized the beginning of every sentence, I'm not really sure why you'd make much use of it. Either way, ClipCase should come in handy for anyone who does a lot of copying and pasting of text. ClipCase is freeware, Windows only.
