10 Updates Orkut MUST make in 2009

Orkut has completed 5 years and this year Orkut needs to make our lives easier. We need the following 10 updates really bad.

1. Orkut would be categorising the apps for better browsing.
2. Making a WYSWYG Editor for scraps
3. Ability to close the posts in Communities
4. Ability to make sticky posts in Communities
5. RSS Feeds for Community Posts
6. Bookmarking Posts
7. Would add a toolbar, like what FB has now.
8. Applications would go in a separate tab of profiles
9. Dropdown menu to show more posts in a community...as people have to press next after every 10 replies
10. Communities should have their photo albums and video sharing.

Happy New Year 2009 to all Orkuters from Blakut.com

It been 1.5 years since we made a modest start for this blog, as an addition to our communities and we have evolved since. In 2009 we would be aiming to introduce more integration of data in the communities with the blog so that we can counter the weaknesses of Orkut Communties with Blogs and vice versa. The revenue earned from this website is given away to the most hard working members in the form of giveaways(worth about a 100$ in '08). Last year we made 5 online deliveries of "Counter-Strike Source" via steam. In 2008 Blakut.com and all our communities have been a huge success and we would be looking forward for 2009 to try out new ideas from the members and also add in a few more talented and hard working members in our team as our work load is increasing exponentially.
